Our Story
🖤 Welcome to DADDY SAID SO 🖤
It started in 2019, in a small leather workshop in London — not as a business plan, but as an obsession. We've always been drawn to leather: the smell of it, the way it ages, the way it holds a shape and a story at the same time. What began as late nights cutting scraps on a kitchen table slowly became something more deliberate.
Around that same time, we found ourselves fascinated by a different kind of material language — restraint. Not as spectacle, but as intimacy. A collar, a leash, a strap pulled just right — these aren't accessories in the traditional sense. They're an unspoken conversation between control and surrender, between who we are in daylight and who we allow ourselves to be when no one's watching. That fascination became the second half of what DADDY SAID SO is built on.
As a female-led studio, we wanted to make pieces that felt like they were made by people who understand the feeling, not just the fantasy. Every collar we cut — whether in python, crocodile, vegan leather, or full-grain cowhide — is designed the way we'd want to wear it ourselves: substantial, deliberate, and built to hold up under an actual pull, not just a photograph.

We're a small, proudly British studio. Every piece is still handcrafted here in London, in small batches, by hand — from the first cut of leather to the final rivet. No factories, no mass production. Just a workshop, a lot of leather, and an unapologetic love for what this material can say when words fall short.
Thank you for being here, and for trusting us with a part of your story.
